Message-ID: <002301c4de16$bd05feb0$7d0d9283@mcilink.com> I am a Sys Admin for a number of HP Tru-Clusters. I am looking at linux alternatives. From what I have seen so far it appears the "Master Node" in a Scyld Beowulf Cluster is a single point of failure. Is this so? Most of the applications we run use clusters for high availability not compute power. Should I be looking elsewhere?
