http://www.scyld.com/network/rtl8139.html

when the card is inserted i get in /var/log/daemon.log

I have similar results - concerning to the last message - with two other
versions of pcmcia-cs, from which i conclude the error is independent from
a pcmcia-cs version. i do not have pcmcia-support in kernel. but use i82396 from
pcmcia-cs. Is there a way to figure out what is going on or how to get the card
working? I tryed out the dump_* programs from pcmcia-cs, but dont know what i get from
that...
