Boy do I feel dumb replying to my own email :-)
 
Seems like I was looking in the wrong place. 
 
The nVidia chipset on this board has drivers from nVidia that will support
the NIC. Hopefully the link below will help someone else:

Just got this board... rather nice for a cheap board too. 
Can anyone point me to some documentation that shows what driver to use (and
how to configure it)? 
I have read the docs with the kernel drivers that say that SIS900 is the
right one, but I can't get it to work. Simply won't accept the insmod
sis900. Doesn't appear to recognize it at all.
Any help is appreciated.
