Hello everybody,
I have a server with a realtek8139 network adapter running debian 2.2r3
and kernel 2.2.19pre17 using the 8139too driver.

They have been receiving messages like the following pretty regularly:
Nov 29 10:21:55 cm-server kernel: eth0: Abnormal interrupt, status
00000002.
Nov 29 10:24:17 cm-server kernel: eth0: Abnormal interrupt, status
00000002.
Nov 29 10:24:49 cm-server last message repeated 3 times
Nov 29 10:26:16 cm-server last message repeated 5 times
Nov 29 10:26:46 cm-server last message repeated 3 times
Nov 28 16:32:13 cm-server kernel: eth0: Abnormal interrupt, status
00000041.
Nov 28 16:34:52 cm-server kernel: eth0: Abnormal interrupt, status
00000040.
Nov 28 16:37:45 cm-server kernel: eth0: Abnormal interrupt, status
00000041.
Nov 28 16:37:56 cm-server last message repeated 2 times

I've done some looking on the web and found various references and
opinions on this messages. They range from ignorable to Bad. I just
want to get the story straight on these messages so I know whether I
need to be worried or not.

Thanks
