[realtek] rlt8139 and cardbus for 2.4.7 kernels

hi!

i bought a pcmcia fast ethernet card with the realtek 8139 chipset

i tried to configure it as explained with the drivers supplied with the card, 
but these ones work only for the 2.216 kernels

the 2.4.7 kernel comes with the 8139too driver for realtek 8139 pci cards, 
but it doens't work properly with my pcmcia cardbus card, the system 
complains telling me it can not load the driver

some suggestion?
