Hi!

Situation is: I'm having a Realtek 8139 chipset on a D-LINK network card.
I had no problems running this card with linux kernel 2.2.x.

Now, with 2.4.x it does not work.
I tried 2.4.5, 2.4.6, and the latest driver from sourceforge.net/gkernel/

Whenever I try to insmod, I'm getting following error messages:

kernel: 8139too Fast Ethernet driver 0.9.18
kernel: PCI: Found IRQ 5 for device 00:0b.0
kernel: Assertion failed! ioaddr != NULL,8139too.c, rtl8139_init_one,
line=943
kernel: eth1: Real Tek RTL8139 Fast Ethernet at 0x6c00,
ff:5f:11:00:57:00, IRQ 5

When trying to ifconfig eth1 up, I'm getting "unexpected IRQ trap at
vektor 40" and
"unexpected IRQ trap at vektor 41" and then, system freezes.

I've appended lspci.txt witch is lspci output, and rtl-diag, which is
the output of the
diagnostic program.

I hope you can help me. I'm pretty new to kernel/driver problems at this
level, so
if you need more informations, I'm glad to supply them.

Regards, Philipp
