Donald,

Have you posted 1.03 somewhere or not yet ?
I've downloaded and tested 1.00F dated Aug 12 from
ftp://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/linux/drivers/test/rtl8139.c.
It suffers the same problem, except printing with  more
verbosome error messages.
