This is a real error, unrelated to the driver.

The driver's timer-based monitoring has detected that the interrupt line
isn't working.  So it switches to "emergency mode", where the time is
used to process a few packets.  This mode is only intended for fixing
the problem over a network connection, not continued operation.

Is there any other device on IRQ5?
Blocked interrupt lines with SMP kernels used to a problem with the 2.2
kernels, but was supposedly fixed long ago.
