I tried the stock 2.4.19 kernel and had the same problem. Tyan( they are 
the borad manufacturers) said to flash the new BIOS, which didn`t help a 
bit. The next thing that they sujjested was changing the board. I do not 
see any option in BIOS to enable/disable bus master for the ethernet 
cards. Or is it some option in the kernel? I also have problems with 
using the second interface with Intel e100 driver.
