It at least does not seem to be worse.  The performance is about the same,
though the e100 has some interrupt mitigation features that may significantly
help at smaller packet sizes and/or very high throughput.  Generally, I've
been happy with the e100, but I use the eepro100 when possible because
it has mii-diag IOCTLs support....
