[eepro100] EEpro100: wait_for_cmd_done timeout (RH 7.1)

This happens when I use the eepro100 driver with RH 7.1
When I start seeing these messages, I lose connection to
the machine (eth0 is the management port), and it does not
get better...

The e100 driver that comes with RH seems to work fine...as long
as it doesn't panic the kernel when it's insmod'd :P

I see this many times:
eepro100:  wait_for_cmd_done timeout

I see this occasionally:
transmit timed out: status 0040 0c80 at 24668/24696 command 000c0000
