Intel PRO/100 Cardbus II with 82559 chip

Just to let everyone know that using Donald Beckers suggested eepro100 driver at:

  http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/kern-2.3/index.html
  ftp://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/linux/drivers/kern-2.3

does work with my Intel Pro/100 Cardbus II & 56k Modem card. I'm running
Slackware 7 (2.2.13 Kernel) with pcmcia-cs-3.1.10 on an IBM ThinkPad 600 (Pentium
II-300).

I'm using a network performance testing tool that I wrote through it and this
card seems to be the best so far. It can easily saturate both transmit and
receive streams on fast ethernet creating a 200 megabit load. I'm also not
seeing any packet loss that I was seeing before using the 3c575 X-Jack ethernet
card.

Here are the lines I added to my /etc/pcmcia/config file:

device "eepro100"
  class "network" module "cb_enabler", "pci-netif", "cb_shim", "eepro100"

card "Intel Pro/100 Lan+Modem56 Cardbus II"
  manfid 0x0089, 0x1103
  bind "eepro100" to 0, "serial_cb" to 1

Thanks to everyone for their help,
    John Matthews
