Problems causing transmit timeouts have been fixed in latest 2.2 and 2.3
kernels.  The fixed drivers also available at
ftp://ftp.sw.com.sg/pub/Linux/people/saw/kernel/

But I don't have fixes for 2.0 version of the driver.
So, basically, you have two options to get rid of the problems: upgrade your
kernel or backport the fixes to 2.2 version of the driver.
