EtherExpress PRO/100 Server Adapter - supported?

Hi all,

I have just taken delivery of an ethernet adapter that identifies itself
as follows:

Intel EtherExpress PRO/100 Server Adapter
PILA8480

It has an onboard i960 on the thing, apparently it does great things to
Netware or something.

Anyway, kudzu correctly picks up the card's existance (using a standard
Redhat v6.1 installation), but the eepro100.o driver refuses to load:

[root@lies ~dsngrle]# modprobe eepro100
/lib/modules/2.2.12-20/net/eepro100.o: init_module: Device or resource
busy
Exit 1

A run of the eepro-diag program shows this:

[root@lies ~dsngrle]# ./eepro-diag
eepro100-diag.c:v1.01 7/8/99 Donald Becker (becker@cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov)
Unable to find a recognized card in /proc/pci.
If there is a card in the machine, explicitly set the I/O port address
  using '-p <ioaddr> -t <chip_type_index>'
Use '-t -1' to see the valid chip types.
Exit 19

A quick look inside /proc/pci picks up the network adapter like this:

  Bus 0, device 11, function 1:
Ethernet controller: Intel Unknown device (rev 3).
      Vendor id=8086. Device id=5201.
Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. IRQ 10. Master
Capable. Latency=32.
      Prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xe3000000 [0xe3000008].

The keywords here seems to be "Unknown device". Is there some hope for
this card?

Will a kernel update (from Linux version 2.2.12-20
(root@porky.devel.redhat.com) (gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux
(egcs-1.1.2 release)) #1 Mon Sep 27 10:40:35 EDT 1999) do the trick?

Has anyone had direct experience with this card?

Regards,
Graham
