Dear Mr. Lafferriere:

I downloaded the new driver and I compiled the module and then tryed to
load the driver with insmod but this was the error message again..

[root@linux /root]# insmod /root/eepro100.o
eepro100.c:v1.02 7/24/98 Donald Becker
http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/eepro100.html
eepro100.c:v1.02 7/24/98 Donald Becker
http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/eepro100.html
eth0: Intel EtherExpress Pro 10/100 at 0xef40, 00:A0:C9:70:3D:DB, IRQ 9.
Board assembly 678400-001, Physical connectors present: RJ45
Primary interface chip i82555 PHY #1.
Self test failed, status ffffffff:
 Failure to initialize the i82557.
Verify that the card is a bus-master capable slot.
  Receiver lock-up workaround activated.

This motherboard is a Tiger 100 made by Tyan. It's a dual P11 motherboard
but with only 1 cpu ( 300Mhz ). My kernel version is 2.0.34. I have 3 of
the Intel etherexpress cards, all of which are PCI and are the 100b series
of cards.

I tryed all three of them and the same message pops up when loading the
driver.
