<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>We have a problem with bproc and zombies processes. 

We are using a genetic algorithm application MPI based.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>In our aplication, we are executing a external 

program via system() call.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The problem is that many of these new processes are 

zombies in the master node, however, they don´t appear as zombie in the slaves 

nodes.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>We are using Scyld 27z-8 with updates.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>What can we do to solve this problem?</FONT></DIV>
