LAPack, have seen factor 2 difference between both the PGI and G77 (on
Linux) compilers and the Digital compiler (on WINNT). Is there a compiler
version of the Digital library for Linux? Is there a compiler that
delivers the same performance as the Digital? Is there a different version
of the LAPack library that provides better performance?</FONT></DIV>
