[Beowulf] What is rdma, ofed, verbs, psm etc?

These days I just use wiki to look up acronyms, e.g.
RDMA == https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_direct_memory_access

For a common english word like "verbs" it would help to see the context.
Beware of vendors making stuff up to sound cool.
