[Beowulf] Lustre heading for removal from mainline Linux kernel

Sadly it appears that not enough work is being done on Lustre to make the
kernel maintainers want to put up with it in staging for much longer, the LWN
report on the Kernel Summit 2015 in Korea reports that, in the session "Is
Linus Happy?":

https://lwn.net/Articles/662979/

# Christoph complained a bit about the staging tree. He said that it breaks
# allmodconfig builds, but that problem was evidently fixed a while ago. He
# also dislikes the Lustre filesystem, which has been in staging for some time
# now; Greg agreed and said that he would like to delete it. It was generally
# agreed that the work being done on Lustre is not substantial enough to
# justify its continued presence.

It's probably unlikely to disappear in the 4.4 kernel given that rc1 was just
released, but I wouldn't be surprised if it disappeared in the next few
releases.

All the best,
Chris
