I have run some testing with a two clusters each containing
two machines with dual AMD Athlon 1.2 GHz, 760MP and Dual
Pentium 4 1.5 GHz, i860 (the chipset not the i860 CPU!).

The performance varies with benchmark and application.
For some tests the dual Athlon yields the highest performance
and for other the dual P4 yield the highest performance.

The results are published at the web site for high performance
number crunching: http://computational-battery.org/
and the page in question is found at:

Contributions to this site is welcome.
