At first, I thought you were referring to the inspiron 1425s, which are a laptop of sorts.. then I found the SC1425.  

For a demo cluster or fooling around, at $200-250/each (4GB RAM, 80GB disk, etc.) this kind of thing seems pretty attractive. Makes the under $2K non-trivial cluster doable.
