If you want to do a little development and impress your friends, try playing with pgapack (Parallel Genetic Algorithm Library) http://www-fp.mcs.anl.gov/CCST/research/reports_pre1998/comp_bio/stalk/pgapack.html You can develop a GA on single computer then run it on a cluster. -- Doug > Any kind system is fine.
