Ok, thanks for all the replies. Does anybody know of a use for a cluster? I know I'm going to build one, and I have no programming experience. My thought was that I would just calculate Pi out infinitely, but that doesn't look like it will work. The nodes will be cyrix x86 processors w/ clock speeds of 133 MHz. They each have about 3 GB of HD space. Thoughts on something that I can calculate and log in a MySQL database? -- I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image. --Stephen Hawking Jake Thebault-Spieker
