Neither have anything in BIOS related to the 3com NIC, which leaves software controls. We have floppies in each of the slave nodes because a) they're cheap, b) we're running full size cases -- it's a small cluster, and c) we're running with hard disks anyway. I want to sort this out mainly for completeness and peace of mind. BTW, I haven't even looked. Does the Tyan driver CD contain any 3com utilities?
