Hi
You would need to define the .rhosts file  from user
home directory. This file should have the name of all
the hosts which u r connnecting to . similar to what
the /etc/hosts file would look like

then you would need to write the /etc/hosts.equiv file


Eg ifu  want to rsh into node2 and dont want a
password for user guest so the /etc/hosts.equiv file
would look like this

node2  guest
node3 guest
node4 guest 

Etc based on the number of nodes that you have,

Also make sure that in the /etc/hosts file u have the
loopback address mapped to localhost . I mean lets say
on node1 the hosts file shld look like this

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.1.101 node1
192.168.1.102 node2
