It's hasn't been just a S2460 problem. ah - was concentrating on the dual tbird problems. We're having problems with a slew of servers for a data centre hosting contract we have - using XP1900+s in DFI AK76-SN boards. We had to upgrade the bios before they'd remain stable running any of the cpuburn package's utils (burnMMX, burnK7) or the stuff from sysutils (memtest) [these are debian & freebsd packages, probably similar for redhat]. Once the upgrade was done, no problems however. So it seems that the thing to do here is upgrade bios for XPs and not upgrade for Tbirds :) /kc > > > Wes > _______________________________________________ > Beowulf mailing list, Beowulf at beowulf.org > To change your subscription (digest mode or unsubscribe) visit http://www.beowulf.org/mailman/listinfo/beowulf -- Ken Chase, math at velocet.ca * Velocet Communications Inc. * Toronto, CANADA
