question about IA64 clusters

OSCAR, the Open Source Cluster Application Resource (www.opencg.org,
www.sf.net/projects/oscar) is a cluster solution that supports IA-64. OSCAR
provides an integrated and configured software stack that includes:

LAM/MPI
MPICH
PVM
SIS (System Installation Suite) for installation
C3 tools from Oak Ridge National Lab (for cluster management)
Maui and OpenPBS
Ganglia monitor
OpenSSH

The 1.3 version of OSCAR, now in beta provides full support for RedHat 7.1
and 7.2, and experimental support for Mandrake 8.2 and RedHat 7.3; it also
supports IA-64 and IA-32 platforms. OSCAR does not support Myrinet, because
of a issue with the licensing. OSCAR supplies only the distribution version
of compilers and math libs.
