2 of the 3 examples I gave were CFD: climate and weather.

My CFD customers often have huge datasets (10 Gbytes, say), and those
scale pretty big (50-100 nodes) with just fast ethernet. The weather
datasets are in the 60 mbyte - 1 gbyte range.
