It will monitor ethernet interface throughput on Linux. Stats are stored in a
database and you can access the plots via. web interface.

It's a monitoring system that was built to alert administrators of system
problems - but it can be used as a utilization monitor just as well (just don't
configure the alerts).  (It will monitor memory usage, load, etc. etc. too)

It's a commercial system, but it comes with a free (as in free beer) license
that allows you to use it on five systems, no strings attached.
