Intel's latest spec update says that there's a whole core revision of the PIII that doesn't support dual-processing. these are all fc-pga chips, btw. perhaps this is just another (remember Celeron?) asinine marketing trick to to position the non-Xeon version to compete with AMD. the worst part is that both versions have the same CPUID.
