this is probably not what you want, but maybe something as simple as rsh <node> <job> & in a shell script? (or ssh as the case may be) -----Original Message----- From: beowulf-admin at beowulf.org [mailto:beowulf-admin at beowulf.org]On Behalf Of Thomas R Boehme Sent: Sunday, December 10, 2000 7:58 PM To: 'beowulf at beowulf.org' Subject: Scyld and MPI: Is it possible to launch MPI-Program on Nodes only Hi, is there any way to launch MPI-jobs with beompi without running them on the head node also? We want to run multiple jobs on our cluster and don't want to use the head node for more than one of the jobs (actually, we'd like not to use it at all).
